We will no longer be a 3 Volvo family. We needed something more practical and the S60 was just about out of warranty which was a bit concerning. So goodbye friend. You fueled my love for Volvos. You will be missed.

Yeah the Camry was gonna be for my grandpa. But it fell through at the last minute when the dash lit up on a test drive.

Was a good thing I went for a third test drive before handing over all the cash.

Don’t need the crazy calls from my grandpa about it breaking on him. Especially when he lives 3 hours away.

Not my car not my say. And maintenance isn’t worrying. It’s all the little things like software glitches, trim falling apart, an “accident” on the Carfax, and other electronic issues that make it not worth keeping.

We are replacing it with something lovely though.

I love that car. Mines an 08 version 1.0 in Orinoco Blue (auto though :/)

I was gonna get an R Design but couldn’t find one. So I got a better deal on this and will kinda be making it an R Design with the mirror caps, spoiler, steering wheel, wheels, and eventually a tune.

Love it though. I love hearing people say “That’s a Volvo!?!” And having one of the coolest looking hot hatches.

I like the 08 better than the refresh they did. I drove an auto R-design and almost bought it, but we were about 2k off on pricing. The best part to me is that it’s based on the Mazda 3 platform of similar vintage.

I might buy one of those when the 1 series is paid off. I’ve gotten to the point where I know I’m not keeping it forever.
